Foreign minister's statement on Kashmir welcomed

In occupied Kashmir, Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Geelani have welcomed the recent statement of Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi that resolution of the Kashmir dispute is not possible without involving Pakistan.
The APHC Chairman in a media interview in occupied Srinagar said history stands testimony to the fact that the bilateral agreements have failed to resolve the dispute, KMS reported. Syed Ali Geelani, in a statement said that Pakistan is a primary party to the dispute and the dialogue process without its participation cannot be fruitful.
Senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah said, India should give up its intransigent stance on Kashmir if it is serious in bringing about a just solution to the longstanding dispute.
APHC leaders, Nayeem Ahmed Khan and Yasmeen Raja, in their statements, urged India to withdraw its troops from the occupied territory. On the other hand, the JKLF-R in its party elections, today, elected, Farooq Ahmad Dar as its Chairman and Muhammad Saleem Nunnaji, as Secretary General.
