The two-day Urs celebrations of the eminent poet, scholar, spiritual leader in the sub-continent and the author of renowned book of poetry "Saif-al-Malook", Hazrat Mian Muhammad Buksh (RA), would start here at his mausoleum on November 24 (tomorrow).
Special arrangements are being made to observe the Urs in a befitting manner and with full reverence, under the aegis of the AJK Auqaf Department. Devotees including the admirers of the poet, Islamic scholars from all over the country including Azad Jammu & Kashmir have started pouring in to attend the celebrations by bringing boughs, and would lay floral wreaths at the shrine to pay rich tributes to the poet scholar.
They will offer Fateha and pay glorious tributes to, Hazrat Mian Muhammad Buksh for the grand job he performed to spread the teachings of Islam and establish moral values, mutual harmony and brotherhood among the humanity through his mystic poetry. According to the programme, floral wreath will be laid after the ablution of his mausoleum on Tuesday after Maghrib prayer by Chief Justice of Azad Jammu Kashmir Supreme Court, Justice Muhammad Riaz Akhter Chaudhry. Besides the chief guest, Justice Riaz Akhter Chaudhry, leading scholars and Ulema would deliver special speeches to pay rich tribute to the poet.
AJK Minister for Auqaf, Sahibzada Pir Attique ur Rehman Faizpuri will chair the concluding ceremony of the Urs celebrations on November 25. Naat Khawans and poets will also present the mystic poetry of great saint and Arif-e-Khari, Hazrat Mian Muhammad Buksh (RA).
