NRO worst ever law: Shahbaz

Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday speaking in the award giving ceremony of successful students of Intermediate classes stated that billion of rupees had been looted in the previous government under the patronage of rulers. He said the present sufferings of people including unemployment, and other unevenness was result of that corruption, he added.
He said NRO was the worst ever law that had depleted the national economy and culprits got condoned of billion of rupees of loans. He said that those had made dacoity of billions of rupees were the people who had brought Pakistan to the current financial status.
Talking about Hameesh Khan head of Bank of Punjab that Rs nine billion had been looted and it was the dictator that made his flee from the Country possible. He averred that despite no from State Bank Hameesh Khan was made head of Punjab Bank. He said it was an irony that those people who got condoned billion of rupees were still living a luxurious life.
He said it was the time that looted money of the nation should be transferred back to uplift the system here, he added. He said by adhering to the principles of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal the Country could get back its status in the comity of nations.
In the function he distributed prizes amongst the successful students of Intermediate and undertook to provide the treatment to a thalassemia student. A large number of students and senior officials were present in the function.
