Joint research work on snakes decided

In a joint meeting the scholars of Sindh University (SU), Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tando Jam, and representatives of Snake Research Academy (SRA) have decided to develop umbrella approach under the supervision of SU to carry out research work on snakes. It was decided on Saturday in a meeting presided over by Vice Chancellor University of Sindh, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui.
King of Snakes Urs, Faqeer Bahrani, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences University of Sindh Dr M Tahir Rajput, Dr G S Gachal, Dr AG Arijo, Dr Naeemul Haq Qureshi, Tanveer Ahmed Shaikh and others attended the meeting. Faqir Bahrani highlighted the aims and objectives of the meeting and underlined the need of joint research work with help of the universities. Dr AG Arijo presented a concept paper highlighted a mechanism for the research on snakes and awareness programmes for the society.
