Zahid Hussain, a scholarship holder of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), has won the prestigious "Certificate of Inventor" award of Technical University, Graz, Austria. His product "Mamtam" was selected from top five under the category of Public Forward Award 2009, says a press release here on Thursday. Zahid has been working on this product since 2007 along with his team.
This innovative product has an audio and video on demand web 2.0 system developed for mobile phones. It enables a user to browse large archives of Radio and TV programmes, select them through voice search and play at any time. The user can also post the comments and view others comments regarding the programmes. The product has been successfully tested with ORF- Austria's largest public broadcasting company, and Mobilkom, the top cell phone company in Austria. A dedicated place has been allotted for this product in the Science Park Graz Austria.
