Worsening law, order hit mental health of children

Renowned psychiatrist Professor Dr Khalida Tareen has said that prevailing worse law and order situation in the country has badly affected mental health of the children, as they feel insecure and are afraid to go educational institutions. It is the duty of the government to curb the terrorist activities and ensure peaceful atmosphere to secure the future of children, who are the future of country.
On the eve of Eid ul Azha, she distributed gifts among the special children here on Monday. She organised a special Eid programme for the recreation of the special children at the Special Education and Training Center (SETC) at Johor Town. Project Director of SETC renowned psychiatrist Professor Dr Khalida Tareen said that special children could play pivotal role in the development of the country.
