The Sindh Minister for Fisheries Zahid Ali Bhurgri has inaugurated the chain of development works in Taluka Qasimabad under the Relief Package of Rs 360 million announced by the Chief Minister Sindh for the development of Qasimabad on Tuesday.
Addressing at the inauguration ceremony of development works here at Marvi Lawn Qasimabad, the Sindh Minister Fisheries said that Qasimabad had been ignored in the past but soon after the formation of PPP government number of development works had been carried out in Qasimabad.
He said that under this relief package sewerage system, repair of roads and other development works would be carried out. He said that in addition to that work on Master Plan of Rs 2 billion announced by the Chief Minister Sindh during his visit to Hyderabad in the month of Ramazan for the development of Qasimabad would be started soon. Bhurgri said that for providing healthy entertainment, public parks would be constructed in Qasimabad and for that documentation had already in progress while an underpass with the cost of Rs 150 million would be built at Naseem Nagar Chowk, Qasimabad in which PC-I had been prepared, he added. He said that to ensure quality and standard in development works experts' services have been hired.
At this occasion, Project Director of Development Works Shafique Mohammad Lakho gave the briefing on the development works. Vice President of PPP Hyderabad Amanullah Siyal, Syed Faisal Shah Jamote, Pervez Ansari and Iqbal Soomor addressed the ceremony while Mirza Ashiq Hussain Baig, Pasha Kazi, Roshan Solangi, Aftab Khanzada, Noorun Nisa Abro, Kazi Ashad, Rasool Bux Shaikh, Yameen Soomro, Mehboob Abro, Jam Saqi, Khan Mohammad Sehto, Engr Sikandar Hayat and Kazi Saleem Shah Bukhari were also present in the ceremony.
