Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai has been in the news for a while because of her upcoming movie ‘Fanney Khan’, however the latest reports of the actress’s refusal to do intimate scenes for the film are stirring up major buzz.

The movie has garnered much attention with one controversy after another. First there was debate on the choice of lead actor R Madhvan, who was later replaced by Rajkummar Rao and now Aishwarya’s refusal to shoot bold scenes in the films are making news.

It seems an unusual rebuttal as the actress did some extremely bold scenes just one year ago with Ranbir Kapoor in her last movie, ‘Ae Dil Ha Mushkil’, a source revealed to Deccan Chronicles. The actress is being incredibly picky about every scene in the movie, the source said, adding, “Aishwarya is very particular about every scene in her films and she has expressed her apprehensions in doing a few intimate scenes for Fanney Khan.”

People are speculating that this sudden change in choice may be due to Aishwariya’s in-laws, especially her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan, who was previously quoted saying, "Earlier, filmmakers created art. Today, it is a business and all about numbers.” She added, ''Everything is thrown at our face. People have forgotten subtlety. Open display of affection is considered smart... sharam naam ki toh cheez hee nahi hai [these people are shameless]."

The upcoming movie is said to be a musical and the story revolves around a singer named ‘Anil Kapoor’, who is of course played by the real life Anil Kapoor.
