More than 1000 telephones of the Lahore Township Industrial Estate (LTIE) are dead since long but no action has been taken yet by the relevant department despite repeated reminders. They urged the Federal Minister for Telecommunication and General Manager Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) to take notice of the situation and direct to activate the dead telephones of LTIE. They said that minimum two linemen should be deputed at the office of LTIA so that the dead telephones could be activated immediately.
