MQM chief telephones Gilani

MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain telephoned Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the loss of innocent lives in the tragic incident of twin suicide bomb attack at a Mosque in Rawalpindi on Friday. He praised the valour of the law enforcement agencies for rendering great sacrifices in protecting the lives of the people.
Altaf Hussain asked the Prime Minister to appeal the Ulema to condemn terrorism in strongest terms and create awareness among the people that suicide bombing is un-Islamic and an inhuman act. He offered full support to the government and said that his party is whole-heartedly behind the government efforts in stamping out terrorism and militancy from the country.
Thanking Altaf Hussain for his support, the Prime Minister said that these cowardly acts of terrorism would not weaken our resolve to eliminate terrorism from the country and added that the operation against them would continue till its logical conclusion. He said that terrorists have no religion and no boundary and today's act of terrorism in a mosque killing innocent people clearly reflects their evil designs.-PR
