Labour Party Pakistan (LPP) held protest demonstration against the US troops' surge in Afghanistan here on Friday in front of US Consulate. Addressing the protestors, President LPP, Farooq Tariq, said that the troops surge in Afghanistan would accelerate the conflict. The protestors raised slogans against the US drone attacks in Pakistan. Farooq Tariq demanded immediate halt of the attacks, as a number of innocent civilians had been killed in these attacks.
