Lawyers boycott courts to protest Rawalpindi attack

The lawyers on Saturday boycotted courts' proceedings in protest against the Rawalpindi episode, which claimed more than 40 precious lives including children and elders. The lawyers' leaders termed the attack conspiracy of Israel and India to destabilise Pakistan.
Member Punjab Bar Council, Iftikhar-ul-Haq Khawar, while addressing the lawyers, said that it was highly deplorable act that was perpetrated by anti-state forces involved in terrorist activities to destabilise the country. He said the nation was united to foil the evil designs of the enemies. He urged the government to arrest the accused and award them exemplary punishment.
