Zulfiqar Ali Shah clipped precious winner, as Pakistan WAPDA edged out PIA on Saturday with narrow 1-0 margin score to outpace KRL and occupied second position in 14-team table of Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL). The electricity men raced to 51 points in 22 matches while KRL, dropped to third position, collected 50 points in the same number of matches. Pakistan Navy is still league topper with 54 points in 25 matches.
Meanwhile, Afghan FC cut PEL to size 3-1. PIA had to play the second session with ten men sans key striker Shakir Lashari. WAPDA managed 51 points from 22 outings while PIA recorded 36 points in 24 games.
