Punjab government to form special teams at district level

The Punjab government has decided to constitute special teams at the district level under the command of the concerned Divisional Commissioner in the province. Volunteers should be included in these teams who would help people in getting rid of Qabza groups and ensure provision of justice to the poor people.
Talking to delegations of PML workers and members of civil society, Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan said that the provincial government will enact laws and devise procedures for the allotment of government land, ordering that the land allotted during the last 10 years should be properly documented.
He pointed out that the government completed the IT labs project in record time and ensured the recruitment of 40,000 educationaliost on merit basis to run the labs.
He assured that the big plazas have been constructed illegally in big cities during the previous regime and their permission was given on political grounds.
He said that the Punjab government should formally make legislation about the allotment of government lands and no one should be allowed to directly allot the government land.
