Government should review policy to tackle suicide attacks: Sajid Mir

Leader of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith Pakistan (JAHP), Senator Professor Sajid Mir has said that suicide attacks would not be stopped through issuing fatwas, instead the government has to review its policy thoroughly.
He said this while addressing the opening ceremony of Professor Abdul Qayyom Library at Jamia Al-Mubarak Railway Road on Sunday. He said that the government should review it policy and create confidence to name the real enemies of the country. He welcomed the establishment of research centres and libraries in order to promote real teachings of Qura'an and Sunnah among the Muslims.
Professor Sajid Mir said the Muslim world should build a Muslim bloc to avert conspiracies hatched against Muslim world and reform anti-Islamic mindset of the elements through establishing research center at international level.
He further said troika of US, India and Israel had sped up their conspiracies to weaken Islam and Pakistan, as the agencies of these countries are active behind terrorism and bomb blasts in Pakistan.
Addressing the ceremony, he said that the government needs to review its foreign policy and consult with other Muslim countries in this regard. He said al Qaeda leadership is present in Afghanistan while the US is guarding them and blaming Pakistan.
He expressed his concern about shifting Taliban leadership from tribal areas to Afghanistan under plan for which US coptres were used. "Now Afghanistan has become a hub of anti-Pakistani conspiracies where India is continuously plotting its designs", he said. He further said that the arms used in terror activities in Pakistan were Indian and US made but the government did not dare to pronounce their names. Professor Sajid Mir appreciated the sacrifices of Pak army and also offered fateha.
