Security forces on Sunday apprehend as many as 34 suspected terrorists and killed one terrorist in search and cordon off operation at different parts of South Waziristan and Malakand division. According to ISPR latest updates, the forces conducted search operation at Jondola sector at Tanai check post and apprehended 6 suspects.
The forces also cleared in Shakai Sector mainly around Abbas Khel Tsappara Ghundai, Waspass Kalle, Ospana Raghazai, Darakai, Spin Kai near Nanu, Barwand and Ospana Raghazai, Kudwam, Shinsar near Tiarza, Kudiwarn, Kund Sarai and Imar Khan Killi.
In the Razmak sector, the forces cleared remaining areas in Tauda China , Khule East, Qalandar, Khajai, Kashkai near Mir Khoni, village Tandai and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition.
During search operation, the forces apprehended 7 suspects at Ghariom and killed 1 terrorist at Shewa. The terrorists fired rockets at Green Top which was effectively engaged, it added.
In the Swat Malakand area, forces conducted search operation at Janu Langar and Titabai near Khawazakhela, Bishbanr, Mingora and Bar Kanju and apprehended 19 terrorists.
Besides, 13 terrorists voluntarily surrendered themselves to forces at Bagh Dheri near Fatehpur, Matta, Mian Kalle, Gulibagh, Charbagh and Mingora, ISPR maintained. ISPR further stated that 17,534 Cash Cards have been issued to displaced families of Waziristan.
