LoI signed to explore areas of academic collaboration

Darussalam Institute of Islamic Studies, Pondok Modern Darussalam, Gonto, Ponorogo, Indonesia and Punjab University have signed a letter of intent(LoI) to explore areas of academic collaboration between the two institutions. Punjab University Acting vice-chancellor Professor Dr Jamil Anwar Chaudhry and Indonesian Institute's Rector Dr Amal Fathullah signed the letter of intent.
According to the documents, both the parties will explore the areas of collaboration, identify the departments and develop instruments for further development of academic linkages between the two countries. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jamil Anwar expressed his hope that since Indonesia is a great Islamic country, this co-operation between both institutes will open vistas of new co-operation and development in the field of Islamic Studies as well as other subjects.
