Sindh Minister for Health, Dr Sagheer Ahmed has issued directive for timely completion of ongoing development projects to provide better treatment facilities to people. He was chairing a review meeting at his office here on Tuesday. Secretary Health Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi was also present on the occasion.
Dr Sagheer directed that work on 24 new development projects should be started as soon as possible and stressed on early initiation of projects of Thalassemia, Burns and cardiac centres included in current year's ADP. He said development wing of health department be strengthened to ensure proper monitoring of development projects throughout the province. He said a detail summary covering administrative and financial aspects should be prepared. In order to ensure timely release of development funds, he asked the officers to remain in constant contact with the Finance Department.
