Need to hold talks with nationalist leaders urged

Minister of State for Industry and Production, Dr Aytullah Durrani on Wednesday called for need of holding talks with nationalist leaders which would be a key to success of the efforts to find long-lasting solution of Balochistan's problems.
"I offer my services to hold dialogue with Khair Bux Marri and Bramdag Bugti on behalf of the government so as to find practical and permanent solution to problems of the province," he said while participating in a debate on Aghaz-e-Haqook-e-Balochistan which is continuing during a joint sitting of the Parliament here.
He criticised United States for troops surge in Balochistan, especially in Helmand area of Afghanistan and said the increase in troops in oil rich area would result in creating a number of problems in Balochistan as the local people will migrate in a big way from there. He appreciated the government for taking the issue of Balochistan for the first time, and expressed the hope the package would ensure development in the area and end deprivation of the people.
