The Faizabad-Koral service road, which is under construction, will adequately facilitate the road users, says spokesman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA). Talking to APP, he said the Authority had been working on service road project from Faizabad to Koral and road upgradion and extention would facilitate over 2,00,000 population living in surrounding areas.
He added the facility would also help ease the traffic congestion on Islamabad Expressway. "Initially eight kilometre long service road will be built and upgraded and in the next phase it will further widen to provide alternative way to the motorists" he added. He said that CDA would install two more overhead bridges on Seventh Avenue and six bridges on Islamabad Expressway. He said that CDA was committed to providing all necessary facilities to the residents of the federal capital.
