Condolence reference on Bashir Miandad's death held

A condolence meeting on the sad demise of Bashir Miandad, prominent businessman and elder brother of legendary cricketer, Jawed Miandad, was held at Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) here on Saturday. KCCI members paid rich tributes to the services rendered by late Bashir Miandad. They prayed for eternal salvation of the departed soul.
Speaking at the meeting Chairman, Businessmen Group and former President KCCI, Siraj Kassam Teli said that Bashir Miandad was a keen and bright cricketer and businessman. He prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give fortitude courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable 1oss. His death has created a void that can never be filled, he added.
He said Miandad made noteworthy efforts to resolve the problems of small traders of Karachi. President, KCCI, Abdul Majid Haji Muhammad, expressed his sympathies with the members of the bereaved family. The meeting was attended by Jawed Miandad, son of Bashir Miandad, former President KCCI Anjum Nisar, Senior Vice President KCCI Rasheeduddin Rashid, Vice President KCCI Javed Ahmed Vohra and large number of KCCI members.
