Chairman Punjab Industrial Development Corporation, Gul Muhammad Rind has said that a big project of embroidery is being started in southern Punjab under which 11 centres are being established and latest machinery would be provided. He said that the construction of this project would be started during the current month and it is hoped that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani would inaugurate the project.
He was addressing to a seminar held by Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI). He said that women would be provided with embroidery work and would also get training. Khawaja Usman, Khawaja Yousaf and Moughees A. Shiekh was also present on this occasion. They said that these projects should remain continue in order to enliven the art and culture of this region.
