Muharram-ul-Haram: meeting reviews security arrangements

Divisional Commissioner Tahir Hussain completed phased inspections, in 4 districts of Faisalabad Division, to review the security and administrative arrangements in the forthcoming month of Muharram. The Divisional Commissioner Saturday presided over a meeting of district peace committee, T. T. Singh in the Committee Room of the DCO office.
He told the participants that all arrangements regarding security of the routes of Muharram processions and Majalis had been finalised by the district police and administration of T. T. Singh. He admired extra ordinary role of Ulemas, media and civil society for the promotion of brotherhood, religious harmony and tranquillity.
RPO Muhammad Tahir urged upon the members of the committee to sincerely co-operate with police to curb the nefarious designs of social elements. He said that if any citizen or member of peace committee learn about any suspected persons, vehicles, packets etc, should immediately informed the local police station or rescue 15. By strengthening the mutual unity, we could defeat the enemies of country, he added.
The Ulemas and members of peace committee Peer Ihsanul Haq, Sahibzada Muzaffar Naqashbandi, Syed Azhar Hussain, Muhammad Manzoor Latif Qadri, Syed Jafar Hussain, Qari Abdul Qayyum, Abdul Rehman Zahid, Shahid Hussain, Sahibzada Hamidudin Rizvi, Muhammad Sadiq Sialvi, Syed Abul Hassan Zaidi, Hafiz Abdul Hai, Syed Akbar Ali, Syed Murad Ali Bukhar, Peer Syed Israrul Bahar Shah, Hafiz Muhammad Shamsuz Zaman, Mufti Abdul Muqeet Asad, Sahibzada Muhammad Anwar, Baraq Tauhidi and Syed Shahid Hassan assured full co-operation with the administration for maintaining peace and harmony in the society.
