CNG filling stations have been shut down for two days across the Frontier province including provincial capital on Wednesday as gas supply has been stopped to 426 CNG stations by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL). The CNG stations as per decision of the Federal government would remain closed for two days and would be opened on December 18.
The closure has created a lot of trouble for consumers. Long queues of vehicles have been witnessed at various CNG stations since early morning compelling the people to use petrol and diesel as alternative source of energy. According to SNGPL, gas supply to domestic consumers would continue unsuspended.
