January rough rice futures on the Chicago Board of Trade fell to a near two-month low early Tuesday, pressured by bearish chart signals and news that the Philippines would buy less rice than it sought at a recent tender, traders said. As of 9:52 am CST (1552 GMT), January rice was down 19 cents at $14.56 per hundredweight, after dipping to $14.55, its lowest price since October 30. The contract triggered sell stops as it broke below its November low of $14.63-1/2.
