Grams prices were higher on the wholesale grain and seed market on Wednesday as some other items moved both ways in process of trading, dealers said. On the grams sector gram 50x50 was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 3600-3800, gram dal 50x50 also followed the same pattern, gaining the same amount at Rs 4200-4400.
Yellow peas Canada was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2850-3000, dal yellow peas Canada went up with same gain at Rs 3200-3350 and bajra low type was higher by Rs 125 to Rs 1575 and best quality was up by Rs 150 to Rs 2600, they said. On the cereals side masoor Canada gained Rs 300 to Rs 800. Masoor dal, however, lost Rs 600 to Rs 1000. Wheat old and new both fell with the loss of Rs 10 to Rs 2650-2665 and gur low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 5300 and best type was lower by Rs 200 to Rs 5800, dealers said.
