Sahiwal's PFF Football Youth Development Centre (FYDC) is showing tremendous progress under AFC Aid-27 coach Noman Ibrahim, who helped young team of the centre to make it to final of Pakistan Premier League 2010. President of PFF Youth Development Centre Umer Hayat Khan Lodhi has said to streamline the working in a better way, a body has been formed to help the centre to cope with financial crisis.
The centre, established in Ali Rai Nawaz Stadium, which is expected to be filled with soccer enthusiasts of Sahiwal and nearby villages when Young Blood Football Club will collide with Karachi's Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) in the PFF League final on January 6, 2010. The FYDC management has played a key role in making Football Youth Development Programme a success and to train the players for future national teams.
Moreover, the FYDC also plans to establish centre throughout the country to increase the football activities among the kids, youth and women. Within their respective areas, the FYDC will motivate clubs, districts, zones, provinces and federation to make efforts to popularise the," said PFF's Secretary General Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi (Retd).
