While condoling with the entire nation on second anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Babar Awan said on Saturday that no institution except the Parliament can make amendments to the Constitution. "We will ensure protection of constitutional rights of the institutions," he said, while addressing a group of PPP workers after visiting martyrdom site of Benazir Bhutto here at Liaquat Bagh.
The Minister said new laws would be introduced to improve relations between the Ministry of Law and lawyers fraternity. He said writ of the government would be ensured across the country, adding, "We will fight internal and external enemies on all fronts." Babar Awan said people of Balochistan will be made owner of their domestic resources in the meeting of Federal Cabinet scheduled to be held in Gwadar on December 30.
