ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee issued on Tuesday price list of vegetables and fruits in the markets of Federal Capital.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad, except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar markets, are as follows:
Potatoes Rs 35/30 per kg, onions Rs 58/50, tomatoes Rs 155/120, ginger Rs 170/125, garlic dasi Rs 100/80, garlic (Quetta) Rs 128/100, lemons Rs 120/80, lady finger Rs 50/40, pumpkin Rs 60/48, brinjals Rs 30/24, peas Rs 178/140, farsh bean Rs 72/58, cucumber Rs 55/40, capsicum Rs 95/72, green chilies Rs 48/38, cauliflower Rs 70/50, cabbage Rs 40/30, bitter gourd Rs 75/60, green zucchini RS 40/30, spinach Rs 20/16, raddish Rs 35/29, turnip Rs 48/40, maroo Rs 62/50, yam Rs 30/24, carrot Rs 55/48, chicken Rs 103 per kg and egg Rs 99 per dozen.
Likewise, the spokesman said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: golden apples Rs 110/85, apple China Rs 200/150, Papaya Rs 130/90, Pakistani bananas Rs 60/45, apple New Zealand Rs 290/230, pear China Rs 175/130, garma Rs 64/45, meetha Rs 160/115, guava Rs 55/40 and grapes Rs 132/98.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any complaint against the shopkeepers.
