India on Saturday evening handed over 31 Pakistani fishermen, including three children to Pakistan through Wagah border. An Indian official said the authorities brought them to Wagah-Attari this morning from Bhuj jail in Gujarat for repatriation.
An official of Pakistan High Commission arrived at the Wagah-Attari border from Delhi with Emergency Travel Certificates for them. Pakistan has already released 100 Indian fishermen on December 26. Pakistan has been demanding release of its over 700 prisoners and more than 63 fishermen still in Indian custody.
