Gang war: man shot dead in Lyari

Tension grips some parts of Lyari Town, when another professional criminal of "Lyari Gang War" was killed in Baldia by his opponent group on Saturday, police and witnesses said. According to sources, Abdul Ghafoor 30, son of Badshah Khan was killed by his opposition group member when he went to receive money from Baldia Town.
After killing of the gang war culprits, unknown armed men restored heavy aerial firing in the area, blocked roads and forced shopkeepers to close their business. Sources told Business Recorder, the deceased went Baldia Town to receive money from a woman namely Noor Jahan. The opponent of the deceased who were recently shifted in Baldia Town due to a family dispute reached there and after exchange of few words, they killed him on the spot.
Sources said Walidad and his three sons were shifted in Baldia Town few months ago after a family dispute with Badshah Khan and his family. The father of the deceased told that Walidad and his three sons Javed Khan, Shahzad Khan and Ismail Khan attacked on his son when we was sitting at the home of Noor Jehan.
He said they come across each other when the woman, who was supported by Walidad and his sons, refused to return back the money. The deceased was wanted to police in seven cases of kidnappings, kidnapping for ransom and murder. Badshah Khan, the father of the deceased is also a renowned criminal of Lyari Gang War.
