NAB arrest Mukhtar Shah from LHC premises

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) authorities here Monday arrested Mukhtar Shah Gillani, a co-accused of Syed Sibtul Hassan alias Double Shah here from the Lahore High Court (LHC) premises when Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif dismissed his interim pre-arrest bail.
The Chief Justice observed that the petitioner-accused could not be granted concession of bail, as he remained proclaimed offender for two years. Mukhtar Shah was accused of looting public money to the tune of Rs 180 million. He was arrested along with Double Shah by Ghakkhar police Gujranwala in a Rs 30,000 robbery case. Later, Double Shah was handed over to NAB, which accused him of Rs 2 billion fraud on general public.
