Additional District and Sessions Court here on Monday accepted the post-arrest bail of Dr Sana-ullah, arrested in connection with a alleged murder of three-year-old Imanae Malik. The accused Dr Sana-ullah was arrested after Doctors Hospital's management held him responsible for the death of Imanae Malik, who died after Dr Sandeep Kumar administered her three wrong injections.
The investigation officer of Johar Town police station in his report submitted that on the day of incident Dr Sana-Ullah was on official leave and the duty doctor Sandeep Kumar was not appointed by him on duty. The IO further submitted that all the three inquiry committees' reports had not held responsible Dr Sana Ullah for the death of Imanae Malik.
Besides, the father of deceased Imanae Malik through his counsel advocate Azhar Sadiq submitted in court that the management of the Doctors Hospital was responsible for his daughter's death and he didn't want that an innocent person should be tried by the court.
The court in light of IO's and complainant's statements accepted the post-arrest bail of Dr Sana Ullah and directed him to submit Rs 200,000 surety bonds in the court. While, the court adjourned for arguments the post arrest bail matter of accused general manager of Doctors Hospital, Zia Ul Hassan, for January 06.
