Wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade, the Kansas City Board of Trade and the Minneapolis Grain Exchange were higher early Monday, buoyed by a weaker dollar and expectations of index fund buying, traders said. As of 9:38 am CST (1538 GMT), CBOT March wheat was up 17 cents at $5.58-1/2 per bushel, breaking through its 50-day moving average at $5.49.
KCBT March wheat was up 16 at $5.52-1/4 and MGEX March spring wheat was up 16-3/4 at $5.61-3/4. March corn up 7 cents at $4.21-1/2 a bushel. January soyabeans up 11-1/2 cents at $10.51-1/4 a bushel.
