Altaf asks office-bearers to distribute manifesto among people

MQM Founder and leader Altaf Hussain on Tuesday said that MQM's newly nominated office-bearers, workers should observe and demonstrate patience, poise and dignity during the general elections. "They should not react to any provocation by the opponents, peacefully distribute the MQM's manifesto to the public and play their role to ensure that the MQM should be organised at grass root level in South Punjab.
In his telephonic address in Multan Arts Council, he said that today's session is called to nominate the office-bearers (Zimmaydaran) for different districts of Southern Punjab for resolving problems and redressing people's grievances, which had not been resolved by any of the previous governments for the past 60 years.
He also praised the efforts of the people of S Punjab. On this occasion Altaf praised the Seraiki-speaking office-bearers and workers of the MQM in South Punjab for demonstrating exemplary patience. He paid tributes to all the members and office-bearers and workers of all the MQM Seraiki Zones for their courage and determination.
Altaf advised all the workers to make door-to-door visits to make the public aware of the programme contained in the manifesto of the MQM. He said Insha Allah the day will come when the Haq Parast will be the biggest party of Seraiki zone, the medieval feudal system will then be abolished and the rule of public will be established in this country.
He reminded that MQM's manifesto is based on the slogan "Empowerment for All" because every citizen has the right to life and liberty and our messages is that to determine the character, wealth should not be the criteria in the country, justice and honour should be made available for everyone. Later names of the newly nominated office-bearers were announced.
