Operation against militants: four terrorists killed, 25 compounds cleared: ISPR

Pakistan Army on Thursday cleared 25 compounds and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from Ghani Khel, Ane Zhawar, Yargha Khel, Ghundaka Mamei Khel near Kaniguram during the on-going military operation Rah-e-Nijat in South Waziristan.
According to ISPR spokesman, security forces conducted search and clearance operation at Chaghmalai and cleared 25 compounds. Four terrorists were arrested at Khajuri during search operation. Terrorists fired with small arms at Lita Sar Check Post near Makeen, which was effectively responded.
On the relief activities, ISPR spokesman said that 28,356 Cash Cards have been issued to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Waziristan so far. On the other hand during Operation Rah-e-Rast in Swat and Malakand security forces killed four terrorists.
Forces conducted search operation at Pul Bela near Bahrain, Kuz Bama Khela, Mera Mai, Muz Durshkhela, Langar, Mashkomai and Chiakolai resultantly arresting three alleged terrorists along with arms and ammunition. One suspected terrorist was arrested and huge cache of arms and ammunition was seized by the security forces in encounter at Panr, Allahabad, Titawali, Dakorak, Chbaghand Fazagat.
