Two alleged would-be suicide-bomber girls were presented before media persons on Saturday, a private TV channel reported. According to the channel, they were arrested from Madyan, a town in Swat district, and were identified as Rabia, 14, and Arfa, 16. They told the media that they had been made to believe that they would go straight to Heaven just after carrying out the suicide attacks.
They said they made up their mind to become suicide bombers after listening to the speeches of Maulvi Fazlullah. The girls said they decided to change their mind when they learnt that the Taliban were destroying schools and bridges, the channel added.
