Mother of Maulana Fazlullah on Saturday said that her son would not surrender to the security forces even if she ordered him to lay down arms and stop bloodbath in scenic Swat valley. "I know if I ask him to lay down arms and surrender before the security forces, he will never obey my orders."
These remarks were made by the mother of the rebel cleric and chief of Swat Taliban Maulana Fazlullah before the media men in the restive Khwazakhela Tehsil. The security forces presented the mother of Fazlullah and his teacher before media in Khwzakhelal. To a question she said she did not know about his whereabouts. It may be mentioned that Fazlullah was last seen in Afghanistan few weeks ago.
He had not killed any body before me and neither burnt any school, the old mother told a questioner." Enough blood has been shed, now peace should prevail. I beg my son to stop this blood game but I don't believe he will obey my orders," she added. "Fazlullah left his house three years ago. I met him only once in these three year at village Jabbar during Ramzan. Since I was ill I could not discuss much with him (Fazlullah)," she explained. She praised behaviour of the security forces with her.
