Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday made it clear that if Dr Aafia is sentenced by the US court on Monday, his party would launch a country-wide protest against the US. While addressing a seminar here on Saturday Khan said that on January 11 Dr Afia will be presented before the US court and if she is sentenced by the court his party would launch country-wide protest against the US till the time she was released.
He said that it was a shameful act for our Government and the secret agencies to hand over mother of three children to the US. Khan said that he does not expect that the US court will provide full justice to Dr Afia. He further said that Pakistan need to pull out of the on-going US-led terror war besides breaking the begging bowl.
Khan informed the participants that more than 700 innocent people were killed and 900,000 people were left homeless in the US predators' strikes in return for dollars. He further said that the Government despite spending millions on foreign tours should facilitate the poor and needy people of the country.
The PTI chief said that about 70 percent of the police forces have been deputed for the security of the VVIPs ignoring the security of the general masses who are becoming the victim of terrorist attacks. Khan held government responsible for the military operation. He further said that the presence of Black Water in the country is against country's sovereignty. He flayed the Government for not taking any legal action against the target killing and other terrorist activities taking place in Karachi.
