PFF Youth Soccer Cup: 28 teams to endeavour for top honour

Dir-born Safiullah Khan, only player in history to score four goals for Pakistan in an international football fixture, will be among the coaches who will field U-14 teams in coming PFF Youth Cup to be played at various centres of Pakistan from February 2 to 16, 2010.
The players born on or after 1 January 1996 will be eligible, as Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) had decided to make it U-14 show to correspond coming 12th National U-14 Football Championship.
PFF launched the event under the directive of its President in July 2007 to analyse the movement and commitment of youth football coaches working under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) AID-27 Financial Assistance Scheme. "All the AID-27 coaches, working at different centres of the country, have been asked to shape their teams, which will help us to analyse what progress they have made so far in imparting training to the young footballers of different age groups.
