DCO Multan Muhammad Khurram Agha has said that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is coming to Multan on a two-day visit, on January 23. During the visit, Prime Minister would inaugurate the development projects worth Rs 10 billion and would address a public meeting in the sports ground. There would be a public holiday on Saturday, January 23.
He said this while addressing a meeting, held to review the arrangements made regarding the visit of Prime Minister, here on Saturday. The DCO said PM would reach on 23rd January and will attend the ceremony in Bahauddin Zakariya University. He would lay the foundation stone of 7 mega projects at Chungi No 9, which includes six flyovers and extension of Bosan Road. He would then inaugurate the extension project of the road in Chowk Nang Shah and a basic health centre at Hamid Pur Kanora. Later on, the Prime Minister would address a big public gathering in the sports ground.
The DCO directed all the concerned officials to complete arrangements of the visit as soon as possible and inform him about the proceedings, on daily basis.
SSP Operations Agha Yousaf, Chief City Traffic Police Officer Malik Yousaf, EDO Javed Akhtar (retd), EDO CD Javed Mehmood Bhatti, DOC Sarfaraz Magsi and other officials of different departments including EDOs, DOs, TMOs, Wapda, NHA, ASF, MDA and Wasa were also present in the meeting.
