Operation Rah-e-Nijat: three more killed, arms cache seized

Pakistan army killed three militants and apprehended two on Friday in Pash Ziarat and Machis near Miran Shah during the on-going military operation 'Rah-e-Nijat', in South Waziristan. ISPR spokesman said security forces cleared 10 compounds at Serwekai and 50 compounds at Qalandar, during the search operation.
Two suspects were arrested at Chelwesti, Wana and huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession. He further said that the terrorists fired with small arms at the security forces at Siplatoi Post, which was effectively responded.
About the relief activities, the spokesman informed that 30,317 Cash Cards have been issued to displaced families of Waziristan. Meanwhile, during 'Opera-tion Rah-e-Rast' in Swat and Malakand, 5 terrorists were killed during an encounter in Jukhtai near Fatehpur. Security forces conducted search and clearance operation at Madyan, Nagwa, Balo Khan near Bhai Kalle, Karakar check post and arrested eight suspected terrorists. Moreover, huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered by the Pakistan Army at Doghalgai near Biha, Sambat near Matta, Damghar near Kanju and Zulmkot near Thana, during a search operation.
