Bilour says peace is top priority of NWFP Government

The NWFP Senior Minister and Parliamentary Leader of ANP, Bashir Ahmad Bilour said on Friday that establishment of peace was top priority of the coalition government in the frontier province. He said this while inaugurating newly constructed Wazirbagh road at a simple but impressive ceremony held outside Kohati Gate.
"Peace is number one priority of our government and realistic steps have been taken to combat terrorism and restore peace in the region", he told the gathering. Getting hydel net profit and unanimous NFC award were historic achievements of the NWFP government the fruits of which would soon be realised by the poor masses. He appealed the Peshawarites to offer Nimaz-e-Istisqa for rains in the country for good crops and checking diseases.
Bilour said the ANP government was well aware of the problems and grievances of the people and sincere efforts were being made to solve it for good. He said an approach of understanding and cohesion as well as 'now or never' has been adopted to settle matters with center for good especially relating to provincial rights and interests.
Senior minister said a comprehensive plan was being embarked upon to provide better facilities of drinking water, sanitation, health, education, roads, street lights, electricity and gas to the people of his constituency. The function was also addressed by Malik Noor Rehman Nazim UC Wazirbagh, Ghulam Hassan Vice President ANP City District, Deputy General Secretary Anwarul Haq and ward president Haji Azmat Khan who lauded endeavours of Bashir Bilour for development of provincial metropolis and betterment of the citizens.
