Leghari advised not to speak against government

24 Jan, 2010

Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that Farooq Leghari has been rejected by the people but he is making futile efforts to come back in politics by levelling baseless accusations against the elected political leadership of the country. He advised Leghari to refrain from issuing false statements against the government
He said that people were fully aware of Leghari's ungrateful politics. Reacting on the interview of Leghari, Khan said that a number of development and welfare projects had been initiated in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif but Leghari is not appreciative. In fact, he was not in favour of prosperity and welfare of the people.
Leghari is aware of the fact that due to education and social development, poor people of the province would not respect feudal lords like him. The minister said that these feudal lords were against the welfare of the poor people. Shahbaz Sharif would end the 'umpire' of so- called feudal lords through development works, he said. He said that the word 'ungrateful' is rightly used for Leghari as he showed disloyalty to Benazir Bhutto and Pakistan Peoples Party.
