Puppet show mesmerises children at PNCA

The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) Ministry of Culture here on Monday organised a puppet show featuring folk stories, national songs and other entertaining items. The children from various educational institutions of twin cities attended the show in which the National Puppet Theater presented popular Nursery Rhymes for the students to provide them education with entertainment.
A few items were based on awareness creating stuff about social problems like Health Education and Environment etc. The puppets provided informative visuals on the topic of `Cleanliness', its advantages for health and the society. With the movement of puppets, the show also highlighted folk tales, skits, national songs and folk dances like Jhoomer dance from Sindh and others from NWFP.
