Soyabean futures fell in early trading at the Chicago Board of Trade on Monday as investors sold long positions amid expectations for a large soybean crop in South America, traders said. At 9:51 am CST (1551 GMT), CBOT March soyabeans were down 7-1/2 cents at $9.44 a bushel.
March wheat up 3-1/2 cents at $5.02 a bushel. Short-covering technical bounce after price decline over the past two weeks drove wheat futures into oversold territory. March corn up 3-3/4 cents at $3.68-1/2 a bushel. Traders said the market was due for a bounce following drop to oversold technical area. Improved export sales of US corn at the lower prices also supportive.
