The prominent and veteran teacher, Professor Mamnoon Hussain has been appointed new chairman of the Department of English at Federal Urdu University for Science, Arts & Technology (FUUSAT) (Abdul Haq Campus), with effect from January 1, 2010, said a press release issued here by the university.
Professor Mamnoon Hussain took the charge of the department after the completion of his predecessor's tenure. Mamnoon, the new chairman, is a highly qualified and well conversant teacher not only in the department but to some extent in the university too. He has done his higher studies from the well-known foreign institution and completed his M Phil from Essex, United Kingdom.-PR
