Members of Punjab Assembly called on Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, on Wednesday at Chief Minister's Secretariat and apprised him of the progress of ongoing development schemes of their respective areas. The chief minister said that the present government had taken the public service as its mission and all out resources were being utilised for the welfare of public.
The government was determined to root out corruption from the society. Therefore, strict accountability system has been introduced in local bodies, he said. He asked the MPAs to ensure timely completion of development projects besides ensuring transparent utilisation of funds in their respective areas. Those who met the chief minister were Shiekh Allaudin, Malik Ahmed Yar Hinjra, Muhammad Imran Qureshi, Malik Ahmed Kaswar Lagrial, Syed Haroon Ahmed Sultan, Mehar Sultan Sikandar Herwana and Malik Muhammad Javaid Iqbal Awan.
