PSM corruption case: accused remanded to FIA custody till February 6

Four accused in alleged corruption in Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) were remanded to the custody of FIA investigators till February 6 here on Wednesday by Judicial Magistrate, South Ghulam Farooq Shaikh. Earlier, accused Brigadier Abdul Qayyum (Retd), Atique Ahmed Khan, Muhammad Farooq and Rasheed Abro were produced before the Court.
They were taken into custody on Tuesday after a Federal Special Anti Corruption Court rejected their pleas for pre-arrest bails.The Court remanding them to physical custody of FIA ordered the Investigators to submit interim charge sheet positively by February 2 while next date of hearing was fixed as February 6.
