PRCS expedites registration of thalassaemic children

Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Punjab branch has intensified its campaign for registration of children suffering from thalessaemia to undertake their free treatment. PRCS Chairman Mian Muhammad Hanif, in a press release here on Tuesday.
The growing number of thalassemia patients came to PRCS thalassaemia centre where every kind of treatment facility including lab tests, transfusion of blood, medication etc was being provided to them free of cost. He said a media campaign was also ongoing for the awareness of common man regarding free treatment of thalassaemia children.
